We are currently recruiting for a Head of Quality for Serco Skills to Support the Director of Apprenticeship Levy & Education to develop and deliver the Apprenticeship/Skills strategy through effective communication on Apprenticeships in Serco, identification of synergies, and optimisation of delivery across Serco. The key element of the role is to improve and implement processes to ensure the continuous improvement of qualification achievement rates, targets are effective delivery and quality is identified and embedded.
Principal duties (include but are not limited to):
*Provide support to the Business Development Team where new qualifications are identified and subsequently plan and execute the strategy for successful implementation of the new qualifications
*Manage and review strategic Quality Improvement Plans, OTLA and quality review activities.
*Monitor outcomes for learners including frameworks, standards, functional skills and end point assessment.
*Manage the quality monitoring of sub-contracted Apprenticeship contracts, including the quality review, OTLA, learning and audit documentation, improvement and development of delivery models.
*Support the Lead Apprentice Manager in Ofsted inspections and SFA funding and quality audits.
*Designated Safeguard and Prevent Officer.
*Manage allocated budgets to ensure all activities are completed in profile and obtain value for money.

As the successful candidate you will have proven experience of building effective partnerships with high-level stakeholders, as such excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including negotiating, influencing and stakeholder management are essential. You will also have experience of implementing and managing change and staff development across a diverse team.
