About Us
LOVESPACE is the UK’s first and largest storage by-the-box company.
We collect boxes or larger items from our customers’ doorsteps, store them in one of our secure storage facilities and return them to any UK address whenever needed – as soon as the next day. Customers manage their items online, taking photos and adding descriptions.
LOVESPACE was cofounded in 2012 by Brett Akker (cofounder of Streetcar), Carl August Ameln (Founder of multiple storage business across Europe) and Steve Folwell (Strategy Director at Guardian Media Group).
We are a multi-award winning start-up, having been named High Growth Team of the Year, The UK’s Most Innovative Business, and Crowdfunded Business of the Year (which we won twice), and we’re well on our way with our mission to be the first choice for people and businesses needing help looking after their things.

Role
The right candidate will be highly entrepreneurial, with plenty of initiative, capable of building and managing local commercial and operational partnerships, running the day-to-day business whilst actively growing the business through smart marketing of LOVESPACE’s services.
You’ll be part of our International Expansion team, working along side other individuals like you, who will be actively developing a business from scratch; identifying customer segments, acquisition channels, setting up warehouses, signing up logistics partners and ensuring the business runs profitably. By sharing knowledge across different cities, you will be able to apply best practices in order to speed up your growth curve.
Your success will be measured on Number Customers Acquired, Cost of Acquisition, Cost to Serve, Profit and Customer Satisfaction. We expect the quality of the service to be a 5-star service in every city, as it is in the UK.
