THE ROLE

First impressions really count, so this is a crucial position in our team. As our Business Development Executive, you will be the first person that potential MarketInvoice customers speak to when they start their relationship with us. You will speak to customers about their businesses and their funding needs to help us understand how we can best support them and their continued growth!

As Business Development Executive, your role will involve delivering a hugely innovative and disruptive funding solution to the SME market. You will communicate with customers over the phone and by email, qualifying inbound leads that come in as a result of Press and Marketing campaigns

As part of your training you’ll learn how MarketInvoice helps SMEs with cash flow issues, growth, and taking on clients they never thought they’d be able to, as well as building your knowledge and phone manner.

Working in an engaging and supportive sales team, you will have coaching and mentoring from senior sales people. You will also work collaboratively with Marketing to assess the success of Marketing campaigns, understanding the campaigns goals and feeding back on results you have seen. You will also get exposure to other teams such as Risk, Customer Success and Operations.

This is a superb role for someone who enjoys talking to customers and is excited about working in fintech alongside a great team or smart and passionate people.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Qualifying Inbound sales leads as well as giving exposure to Marketing campaigns
•Respond efficiently to New Business enquiries, and convert into leads for our Sales team
•Qualify and capture key information for all enquiries and record accurately within our CRM
•Maintain a high conversion rate by following an effective plan for following up and qualifying leads via phone and email
•Conducting Inbound Sales in multiple business verticals across the UK
•Talking to prospective users (CEO's and FD's) to understand their funding needs
•Prospecting, researching and qualifying potential users, offering them a truly exceptional product and experience
•Provide accurate data on inbound enquiries to other teams
•Become an expert in our platform and other forms of traditional and alternative finance

REQUIREMENTS

•We are looking for someone has a winning attitude and shares our values
•You will be a great communicator with professional and engaging verbal and written communication skills, confident over the phone, by email and face-to-face
•You will be a proven team player with the ability to work well under pressure
•Experience selling or working in a customer facing environment is highly desirable
•You will be excited about helping SMEs grow and learning more about our business
•A graduate with a high-level degree, 2:1 or above preferably
•You’re a proven hard worker who is comfortable working to targets
•You’re highly organised, analytical and understand how to listen and adapt
