See you at the Startup Grind Tech Conference on November 13–14 in Barcelona (Sponsored)

On November 13–14th, some of the best entrepreneurs and investors from all over the world will join 800 attendees at the Startup Grind Tech Conference in beautiful Barcelona.

The speaker list includes remarkable names, such as Ryan Bubinski (Founder of Codeacademy), Dhiraj Mukherjee (Founder of Shazam), Orit Kopel (Founder of Wikitribune), Clancy Childs (CTO at Dow Jones), Lorenz Jüngling (CPO and co-founder of N26 ), and Asha Jadeja (serial angel investor & VC based in Silicon Valley  –  one of the first investors of Google).

As it was the case last year, the event will also welcome more than 100 investors, from companies like Kibo, Encomenda, Atomico, K Fund, Caixa Capital Risc, BANC (Business Angels Network Catalunya), GoBeyond, Victoria Capital, Keiretsu Forum, Telegraph Hill Capital, Summit Partners and many more. According to the organisers, some companies have raised over €1 million from investors they met at the conference last year.

On November 13, doors for registration will open at 6pm and the opening night will take place at Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm, including two sessions and a cocktail with the VIPs of the Barcelona startup ecosystem! On November 14, the full day conference at the Auditori AXA starts 8am , with coffee and breakfast,  and end on 6pm.startupgrind-venues

This is how the program looks like: It’ll start with a discussion about Blockchain and the applications in the banking industry with Montse Guàrdia (Banc Sabadell), ‘How to hire and manage remote developers’ with Laura González (HR Manager at Schibsted) and Xavier Redó (Founder and CTO of MarsBased) and ‘How do VCs evaluate tech projects with Alexis Bonte from Atomico’, just to name a few. Other topics will include the future of education, how to battle fake news with technology, learnings and fuckups doing ICOs, or how to work remotely achieving a balanced life, with Ruby on Rails core team member Xavier Noria.
