Central European Startup Awards, the CEE region of Global Startup Awards is back for the fourth year in a row to find, highlight and showcase the futureshapers of Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria.
This year the Regional Grand Finale will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria on 23rd November, organized by the wonderful team of ABLE Bulgaria, and will consist of 3 major events:
- An exclusive daytime networking and workshop event with the greatest thinkers and doers of the region and beyond called CEE Ecosystem Summit
- The Awards Ceremony like none other
- An Afterparty that everyone will remember (or not)
The CEE Ecosystem Summit is a networking and knowledge sharing event designed to connect some of the most important players in the region not only with each other, but with the global startup community in an intimate environment, with programmes that foster understanding, acceptance and collaboration, and to aggregate the knowledge into a CEE startup status report to be issued by Q1 in 2018, and circulated through all the global network. All contributors will be mentioned and have the opportunity to place their brand in the report.

The Awards Ceremony will introduce the regional winners in 12 categories, who will be granted not only with beautiful trophies, but also an amazing package of tickets to great conferences all across Europe (including the EU-Startups Summit), services, fame and shine, and for some of them the chance to compete with the other region’s selected winners at the Global Grand Finale in Tianjin, China in 2018.
