Stockholm-based HR startup Teamtailor expands within Europe

Teamtailor, a Stockholm-based ATS and HR-tech startup, just reported that they had an amazing year with record sales and will now be expanding in Europe.

Teamtailor started its business in 2013, after seeing a need for companies to market themselves as great employees. They also saw a shift in recruiting towards an employee’s market, and companies needed to attract candidates, rather than just posting an ad on a job board.

Teamtailor built an employer branding platform, as well as a powerful recruiting tool. They are established in Sweden, and are now expanding their company to the UK, Germany, France, Norway and Denmark.

Jorge Vasquez, CEO Teamtailor stated: ”We have had an amazing year and we have already seen a lot of interest for our product from other countries in Europe. Those two factors combined, is why we feel it’s time to expand and offer our product to other countries as well”.

Teamtailor approach is to focus on the candidate, and the candidate’s experience when applying for a job. In autumn 2015 the young company also raised $800,000 from a group of business angels. Today Teamtailor has over 270 customers and over 6000 recruiters hiring new employees through the system.

Vasquez explains: ”Applying for a job has never been a pleasant experience for the candidate. We want to put the candidate in focus, and thus create an application process which only takes one click or one touch with your smartphone, on the go. That combined with a modern and social career site, creates a great setting for candidates to apply for jobs. Companies are beginning to understand that they have to change the way they recruit and brand themselves as employers. And that’s why we’re here. We want to help companies grow and make HR heroes”
