Hamburg-based quantilope won the pitch competition during our EU-Startups Conference 2016

One of the highlights during our EU-Startups Conference last Friday in Berlin was clearly the pitch competition. Overall, about 70 startups applied to participate. 15 of them made it to the finals and pitched in front of an expert jury and about 200 attendees. It was a great mixture of exciting business models and ambitious startup teams out of 8 different European countries!

In the end, it was the Hamburg-based startup quantilope which won the competition and took home the prize package worth €5,000.

The package includes an exclusive membership of the SendGrid Accelerate program and free access to the SendGrid 300K Plan (total value: ~€2.930). Also the winner receives €800 in credits for 99designs – the world’s largest on-demand design marketplace. In addition, quantilope receives €770 in credits for our job board on EU-Statups.com and a Cash Prize of €500.

Once again: Congratulations to the quantilope team and to the startup’s CEO Peter Aschmoneit who represented the company on stage!

quantilope is an innovative Software-as-a-Service startup that digitally provides and connects all steps of professional market research on a single platform: Setting-up advanced research projects, surveying, analyzing, interactive dashboarding, collaborating and easy archiving. The Hamburg-based startup was founded in 2014 with the goal to improve the way market research is done. For a better, faster and more efficient marketing support.

Long story short: quantilope is tackling a huge b2b market with a promising business model and the company’s CEO delivered a very good pitch! This combination then led to the jury decision in favour of quantilope.

The jury consisted of the investors Chiara Sommer (HTGF), Mathias Ockenfels (Point Nine Capital), and Fabian Leipelt (WestTech Ventures). According to the jury, it was a tough decision, since there were many other strong startups that took part in the competition.

The 2nd place made Fresh Square, and the 3rd place Travis! An overview with all 15 finalists can be found here. A big “Thank You” to all participants. You were awesome!
