5 good reasons to attend the EU-Startups Conference 2016

The countdown is ticking! On the 24th of June, we’re going to host the EU-Startups Conference at the Microsoft Atrium Berlin (11.45 am – 6.30 pm). If you haven’t secured your ticket yet, we advise you to do so, since they will be sold out soon. And if you’re not sure yet, if it’s worth attending, check out our list with 5 good reasons why you should join us:

1.) Speakers: We’ll have fireside chats with three awesome entrepreneurs! In detail these will be Steli Efti, known as charismatic speaker, sales guru and CEO of Close.io; Johannes Reck, the CEO of GetYourGuide – one of the world’s most successful online travel startups; and Fabian Siegel, the founder of Marley Spoon – a fast growing subscription service, which helps you cook delicious meals.

2.) Pitches: There will be an exciting Pitch Competition with 15 awesome pre-seed and seed-stage startups. We’ll have startups out of Portugal, Denmark, Slovenia, the UK, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The winner receives the honor of the title, a price package worth €5,000 and will be prominently featured on EU-Startups.com.

3.) Networking: We’ll have a great mix of European entrepreneurs, startup enthusiasts, media people and investors in our crowd. The perfect basis for great networking opportunities. And who knows? One of our attendees could be your future employee, co-founder, business partner or maybe even an investors who is willing to fund your startup.

4.) Crowdfunding Panel: There will be a panel discussion with some of Europe’s leading crowdfunding platforms – Seedrs, Companisto, MyMicroInvest and HelpTheCrowd. This is your chance to learn everything you ever wanted to know about crowdfunding and crowdinvesting.

5.) The Venue/Food: Thanks to our location sponsorMicrosoft-Atrium Microsoft Ventures, the EU-Startups Conference 2016 will take place in the awesome event space “Atrium” of Microsoft Berlin. The venue is located right in the center of Berlin (Unter den Linden 17) and the building is also home of the Microsoft Accelerator Berlin. During the networking break the catering team of Fuchs + Gans will serve some delicious food. After the official part of the event, we’ll continue with some networking and drinking at the Digital Eatery, which is right next to the Microsoft Atrium.
