Prolong your summer in Valencia! Join DELITELABS’ free startup pre-accelerator

DELITELABS, a non profit organisation incorporated in Amsterdam, is organising it’s first event in Valencia, Spain (Update – July 2023: The website seems to be out of use, and we therefore deactivated the original link). Around 20 participants will have the opportunity from September-December 2015 to experience to find out everything that one needs to startup a business. People with all backgrounds are welcome to register, from programmers to anthropologists.

The curriculum includes different topics: business models, self-development, organisational design, storytelling, marketing and among others. It’s free of charge for those who that succeed during the selection process. That said, if an alumni becomes the next google, there are three things they ask for in a ‘gentlemen’s agreement’:

  • Promise to ‘really do good’
  • Remember where you came from
  • Feel free to donate an amount of equity that you deem justified

Registration is now open here, and organisers will get in touch with the applicants to test their motivation and decide on admittance.

DELITELABS is an organisation with purely altruistic principles that intends to provide free professional advice to young people who want to evaluate an entrepreneurial future. The professionals involved are not paid and collaborate with the organisation on a voluntary basis.

Christof Hawle, the founder of DELITELABS, commented: “After having advised corporates for the past 10 years, I have learned while helping my friends that often relatively little motivation and structuring is sufficient to make huge steps towards an own business. DELITELABS is the vehicle to offer such advice in a scaled up manner, as well as providing the safe zone for aspiring entrepreneurs to learn to walk on their own feet. Bottom line, I just tremendously enjoy growing and inspiring young minds.”

The organisation has started it’s crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to support it’s idea. The money collected is going to be used to cover the set up and running cost until the end of 2015.
