5 good reasons to attend the EU-Startups Conference

The countdown is ticking! On 7 November, we’ll host the EU-Startups Conference at WERK1 in Munich. The event will take place between 2pm and 7:30pm, and we’re expecting up to 120 attendees.

If you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, here are 5 good reasons why you should do so:

  1. Speakers: We’ll have awesome speakers including Bernhard Niesner (CEO of busuu – the Internet’s leading language learning community), Markus Barnikel (CEO of carpooling.com – a leading ridesharing marketplace), Jeff Lynn (CEO of Seedrs – Europe’s leading equity crowdfunding platform) and Olaf Jacobi (Partner at the Venture Capital firm Target Partners).
  2. Pitches: There will be an exciting Pitch Competition with 9 awesome startups. We’ll have startups from Belgium, the UK, the Czech Republic, Finland and Germany. The winner will receive the honor of the title, $500 in AWS Credits and will be prominently featured on EU-Startups.com.
  3. Networking: We’ll have a great mix of European entrepreneurs, startup enthusiasts and investors in our crowd – the perfect environment for great networking opportunities. And who knows? One of our attendees could be your future employee, co-founder, business partners or maybe even an investor who is willing to fund your startup.
  4. Venue: WERK1 is one of Munich’s hotspots for digital entrepreneurship. They offer great coworking opportunities and they have a nice event venue. It’s neither luxury nor shiny, but perfect for our first event! During the networking break we’ll serve delicious finger food and drinks. If you’re still hungry/thirsty after the event, you’ll find bars and restaurants right around the corner. The WERK1 is located at the Kultfabrik near Munich’s Ostbahnhof.
  5. Tickets: We kept it affordable – the two ticket categories we’re offering (€25/€49) already include food and drinks. Make sure to secure your ticket now. The capacity is limited and the countdown is ticking. Tickets can be purchased here! (Update – May 2023: The event has finished, and we therefore deactivated the original link).

Speaking of events, do you have your ticket yet for the upcoming EU-Startups Summit?
