On the 7 November 2014, we’ll host the EU-Startups Conference at WERK1 in Munich. Around 120 attendees, including entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, startup teams and wantrepreneurs are expected to join us.
The EU-Startups Conference, which will be held in English, will be the perfect event for startups that are aiming to enter international markets. We will have fireside chats with three internationally successful founders from the internet space. One of these speakers will be Bernhard Niesner, the founder and CEO of the world’s largest language learning community busuu.com. If this sounds interesting to you, more speakers and details about the event can be found here.
Pitch competition
In addition to fireside chats, we’ll have a pitch competition with about 10 startup teams. There will be no cash price, but participating startups will get a lot of valuable feedback and the winner will be prominently featured on EU-Startups.com. If you’re interested in pitching your startup idea with a 5-minute presentation in front of a group of investors, startup interested people and an expert jury, please contact me ([email protected]). The application deadline is the 7 September.
Tickets
If you’re planning to attend this year’s EU-Startups Conference, we highly recommend you purchase your ticket now! We kept it affordable; the two ticket categories we’re offering (€25/€49) already include food and drinks during our networking break (sponsored by AWS and Hiscox). Tickets can be purchased here!
