Books have the power to transform lives and businesses. With our section “The favorite books of…” we inform you once in a while about the favorite books of some of the most successful Internet entrepreneurs. Today we’re looking at the bookshelf of Charles von Abercron and Jan Beckers:
A few weeks ago we did an interview with Charles, where we asked him about which books had helped him most during his entrepreneurial endeavors. He answered: “I really enjoyed Onward by Howard Schultz. It really shows what a tremendous impact a proper vision and culture can have on the success of a company over decades. Another great book is Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh as it teaches you so much about focusing and appreciating your customers.”
In an interview back in April 2013 we asked Jan Beckers about the books which had especially helped him during his entrepreneurial endeavors. In his answer he mentioned the autobiography of Warren Buffett which he described as good book for general business learnings. As his second favorite business book he listed The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey – a great book on self-leadership.
