While many European countries are suffering from a high unemployment rate, our Job Board here at EU-Startups.com is packed full of exciting career opportunities. Currently, there are 130 open positions listed at some of Europe’s hottest startups! Interestingly, over 95 of these listings are Berlin-based startup jobs.
As our job board keeps growing, we have increased the visibility of the four newest jobs by adding them into the sidebar. More improvements and a little redesign of our job board are coming soon.
In addition to design and functionality improvements, we’re also planning to charge a small amount of money for each job posting (€19 for a Basic Job Ad and €25 for a Premium Job Ad). This will not only help us to keep EU-Startups.com alive, but also to ensure a better quality of the job board overall. Why? One example is that some startups are posting over 15 startup jobs at the same time, while others are just posting one. Our fear is that a few companies are doing this mainly because it’s free, and because the job postings are generating attention and some ‘link juice’. If we charge, just a little bit, job seekers are probably going to see more serious job offers. On the other hand, there will be less ads if we charge and this will lead to an increased visibility for each job ad.
