Axel Springer Plug & Play launches applications for its second acceleration cycle

Axel Springer Plug & Play, the Berlin-based accelerator programme of the German media giant Axel Springer, is currently accepting applications for its second cycle.

The second cycle starts on the 3 October and will last for three months. Axel Springer Plug & Play provides startups with office space in the heart of Berlin, coaching from exquisite mentors, workshops, networking, events and €25K in exchange for 5% equity. Each programme cycle ends with the Demo Day, where startups will have the opportunity to pitch in front of an elite audience of local and international venture capital firms for additional seed and Series A funding. Plus, because of a cooperation with the global accelerator Plug & Play Tech Center, startups have the chance to meet Silicon Valley investors as well as go to Silicon Valley.

Axel Springer Plug & Play is aiming to attract “trail-blazing digital entrepreneurs” with “innovative, technology and smart businesses”. To get a better feeling about what this exactly means, make sure to take a look at the Plug & Play startups who took part in cycle one; and if the concept of Axel Springer Plug & Play appeals to you can apply now until 15 August for the winter term starting on 7 October 2013.
