Sarah-LacyAbout 3 years ago,  mentioned her favorite books about emerging markets on her personal blog (Update – March 2023: The website seems to be out of use, and we therefore deactivated the original link). Her list goes like this: 1) The Post-American World, which is not a book about the decline of America, but rather about the rise of everyone else; 2) India after Gandhi features the History of the World’s Largest Democracy; and, 3) Democratic Brazil Revisited, which talks about the world’s fifth-largest country.

Michael Arrington, Founder of TechCrunch

Mike-ArringtonArrington once stated that very few business books are worth reading. He advises entrepreneurs to read science fiction instead. His favorite science fiction books are: 1) Dune – 20,000 years in the future, a noble family leaves pleasant planet for a hopeless desert planet called Dune at order of the emporer; 2) Foundation Trilogy – these three books are a small part of what’s now called the Foundation Series.
