Bliu Bliu wins TechChill Baltics 2013

BliuBliu-logoThe new startup conference TechChill Baltics took place in Riga, Latvia, on February 12, 2013 and the winner of the event this year is Bliu Bliu.

The startup founder, Claudio Santori, an Italian who moved to Lithuania, founded Bliu Bliu with a new way to learn languages in mind. He doesn’t believe in classes, grammar, and lessons as the best way to learn a second language and, according to him, it is neither economically viable to produce a language course for a minor language.

This Lithuanian language learning startup is then working on a platform that is able to find contents on the Internet that are on your vocabulary level and that you like. Their idea is that if in the selected contents there are only few words you don’t know, then the learning curve is more gentle and you are more self-confident and engaged. Moreover, Bliu Bliu is able to challenge you everyday a little bit more, helping you improving your proficiency even faster.

The startup aims to launch its MVP in Riga and to offer its service in several European languages thereafter. Check out the pitch of Bliu Bliu founder Claudio Santori below this article:
