Trento RISE has just published its first “Call for Selection” for the TechPeaks Programme, a project promoted by the research and education institution with the participation of Earlybird Venture Capital group (Update – March 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website, and we therefore deactivated the original link).
The programme aims to attract young hackers, designers and entrepreneurs from around the world, mixing them into a 6-month boot camp in the beautiful Italian Alps. Together they will create over 100 new innovative companies, in new information technologies. The aim of this first call, open to individuals and teams, is to launch up to 30 business projects.
Participants need skills, talent and passion – not only ideas. Through a unique training programme for the development of new innovative companies, they will receive free lodging, food, office space, services and visa for 6 months.
Candidates may submit their applications through TechPeaks by filling in the admission form starting from 5 February until 5 April, 2013. The names of the selected candidates will be published on the TechPeaks website by 30 April, 2013.
Thanks to this new initiative, Trentino confirms itself as one of the leaders for innovation, not only at the national level but also at the European one.
