Nitrogram-logoTeleportd, otherwise known as Nitrogram, announced today that they have raised $1 million from Connect Ventures, Betaworks, and business angels. Their new service Nitrogram launched in October and provides brands with visibility into social photos, namely how people are interacting with a brand on Instagram. ticketforevent-logoTicketForEvent, a London-based B2B online ticketing site with most of its operations in Russia, Ukraine and Turkey, has raised $3 million. It will use the funds to expand its business in the region, to extend to entertainment and sports events, to grow its mobile business and to prepare for a wider European push. La-Ruche-Qui-Dit-QuiLa Ruche Qui Dit Qui, a Paris-based fair trade e-commerce platform where users group themselves to buy directly from their local farmers, has secured €1.5 million in a financing round led by XangeCapital. Right now, the e-commerce platform for food is only available in French. But the young company plans a European launch next year under the name “The Ruche”. Check out the post on FrenchWeb.fr.

Vertical-Media-logoVertical Media, the online publishing house behind VentureVillage and Gründerszene, has received a €600K funding round from lead investor PDV Inter-Media Venture GmbH and a host of other big-name business angels (Update – March 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website, and we therefore deactivated the original link). This funding round will hopefully enable Vertical Media to fulfil its vision to become “the leading digital publisher in Europe”.
