About two years ago (on the 4th of October 2010), I published the first post on EU-Startups.com. Since then I had the chance to do a lot of exciting interviews with European entrepreneurs and wrote (together with our contributing writers) over 560 articles (310 during the first year and about 250 during the second year). My initial goal for the second year was to publish even more posts than the year before. Unfortunately this wasn’t possible due to my main job and private life (by the way: Sorry for all the unanswered e-mails). During the third year I will try to work harder on the quality and quantity of this blog. And I will also try to answer more of the daily incomming e-mails. I promise!
In order to cover more exciting news out of the European startup scene, we’re looking for passionate writers from countries like Spain, France, UK, Poland, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark and other EU-countries. Would you like to join our team? Are you interested to support us via sponsorship (etc.)? Please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Overall I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far with this blog. GigaOm, TechCrunch, TheNextWeb, Gruenderszene, ExcitingCommerce and many more famous media brands already linked to some of our stories. Last month, EU-Startups.com generated about 9.500 visits and roughly 21.000 page impressions. About 695 people have clicked the like button since we set up our Facebook Fanpage last year. Thanks!
