By the way: EU-Startups.com recently turned 2 years’ old!

About two years ago, on the 4 October 2010, we published the first post on EU-Startups.com. Since then we had the chance to do a lot of exciting interviews with European entrepreneurs and wrote (together with our contributing writers) over 560 articles; totally around 310 during the first year and about 250 during the second year.

Our initial goal for the second year was to publish even more posts than the year before. Unfortunately this wasn’t possible, but during the third year we will work harder on the quality and quantity of this news site, as well as try to answer more of the daily incoming e-mails – we promise! 🙂

Overall we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far with this blog. GigaOm, TechCrunch, TheNextWeb, Gruenderszene, ExcitingCommerce and many more famous media brands have already linked to some of our stories. Last month, EU-Startups.com generated about 9,500 visits and roughly 21,000 page impressions. About 695 people have clicked the ‘Like’ button since we set up our Facebook page last year, too. Thanks!

In order to be able to cover more exciting news coming from the European startup scene, we’re now looking for passionate writers from countries like Spain, France, UK, Poland, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark and other EU countries. Would you like to join our team? Are you interested to support us via sponsorship? Please don’t hesitate to contact us!

Speaking of HR & Job Opportunities: Make sure to check out the EU-Startups Job Board in case you’re currently hiring or looking for new job opportunities.
