Prague-based e-commerce personalization service Proactify raises $100K

Prague-based e-commerce personalization service Proactify just announced raising a seed round of $100K from Absurd Capital and Rockaway Enterprises (Update – February 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this website and we therefore deactivated the link). The startup will primarily use the investment to grow its team and expand its services.

Proactify was founded in 2011 by Jiri Kopsa and Josef Holy, as a startup coming from the Prague-based accelerator StartupYard. The young company created a tool that brings together the smart techniques of proactive selling and personalization to e-commerce websites of all types and sizes. By integrating a small code into online-shops, Proactify learns about your customer’s preferences, and this knowledge will then be used to recommend the right products to individual customers. Proactify is working on a beta version these days, co-operating with top e-commerce sites like sconto.cz.

Jiri Kopsa, co-founder of Proactify, stated: “Today’s eshops are just like paper catalogs – uniform for every customer. We help e-commerce sites to utilize their data and present different products to individual customers, thus maximize the few minutes of customer attention and drive up conversion rates and sales.”
