Music streaming platform Spotify says hello to Belgium, Switzerland and Austria

Music streaming platform Spotify just announced on its blog: “We had so much fun launching in Austria yesterday that we figured why stop there? So today we’re doubly excited to welcome both Belgium and Switzerland to the Spotify family. Hello!”

Last month Spotify already expanded into Denmark. In addition to Belgium, Switzerland and Austria, there have also been rumors about Spotify’s upcoming expansion into other regions as well, which include Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand and Germany. The famous music streaming platform offers three alternative services in all of its existing markets: Spotify Free, Spotify Unlimited and Spotify Premium.

Spotify was launched for public access on October 2008 and has its roots in Sweden. Its music service is currently available in 12 countries, and we have no doubt that we’ll soon see it in many more over the upcoming year or two.
