Berlin-based payments platform SponsorPay wins Red Herring 100 Europe Award

SponsorPay, a leading international offer-based payments platform, announced last Friday that it’s won a prestigious European award (Update – January 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this name and we therefore deactivated the link). The award in question is Red Herring’s Top 100 Europe award, a well-known list recognizing the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the European business region.

The Red Herring editorial team evaluated the most innovative companies from a pool of hundreds from across Europe. Winners of the Red Herring 100 Europe award were chosen based upon their technological innovation, market size, management strength, investor record, customer acquisition, and financial health. SponsorPay joined companies such as Skrill/Moneybookers and Wonga among this year’s awardees.

“Our platform enables online advertisers and providers of digital goods to overcome their biggest hurdles in an exciting but challenging market. This recognition is testament to the value of our services”, said Andreas Bodczek, CEO at SponsorPay.
