British social media management platform Conversocial secures $2.4 million from DFJ Esprit

The London-based real-time social media management system Conversocial announced today that it has secured an investment of $2.4 million from DFJ Esprit (Update – January 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this name and we therefore deactivated the link). Nic Brisbourne, a partner at DFJ Esprit, will be joining Conversocial as a non-executive board member.

DFJ’s investment will allow Conversocial to continue building its tool for marketing and customer care teams. The young company helps its clients to turn social platforms into effective marketing and customer service channels for brands.

Over the next 12 months Conversocial plans to grow its team and accelerate the product development. The startup, which was founded in 2009, is also planning its expansion to the US in the near future.
