Meet Silk, the Amsterdam-based winner of The Next Web Startup Rally

The winner of the annual ‘Startup Rally’ at The Next Web Conference was announced this evening. The overall the rally, where 16 startups battled it out over a total of 2 intense days, is called Silk (Update – January 2023: The startup seems to be no longer in business under this name and we therefore deactivated the link).

The Amsterdam-based startup Silk (typLAB) has created a web application that helps you collect, sort and view the information that you need, the easy way. Salar al Khafaji is the co-founder of Silk, and his team currently consists of four people. Together they have created a innovative way to navigate through the semantic web, which certainly caught the attention of TNW Startup Rally judges across many categories, showing their potential for growth.
