French mobile ad platform MobPartner receives €2.5 million funding

MobPartner, the performance-based mobile ad platform from France, recently received some new funding of €2.5 million from Newfund and Alven Capital (Update – December 2022: The startup seems to be no longer in business and we therefore deactivated the link).

The young company was founded in 2007 and works pretty much like Admob but with a focus on performance marketing. MobPartner, which is based in Paris, offers mobile affiliate and performance marketing for advertisers, mobile publishers, application developers and media buyers. Their over 100,000 affiliates have generated over 1 million transactions during the last 6 month. There are publishers from 100 different countries that are working with MobPartner already, showing their promising user base numbers.

The fresh capital will probably be used to develop MobPartner’s services in English-speaking markets and in emerging markets in Latin America, Asia and Africa.
