The Guardian News & Media acquires UnLtdWorld, a social entrepreneurship platform

UnLtdWorld, the online platform for social entrepreneurs, was recently acquired by the Guardian News & Media Limited for an undisclosed sum (Update – December 2022: The startup seems to be no longer in business and we therefore deactivated the link).

The project, which was started in 2007, connects users with the people, tools and information that they need to change the world. According to UnLtdWorld the online network for social entrepreneurs currently has about 14,000 members.

Alberto Nardelli, the CEO of UnLtdWorld commented on the acquisition, highlighting their focus on growth: “Over the past three years we’ve developed the largest community of social entrepreneurs in the UK, and there is so much more that we can, and want to do.”
