SoundCloud reached 3 million registered users

SoundCloud, The audio sharing platform out of Berlin, has announced today that it has reached 3 million registered users. This means a growth of about 1 million users in the last 100 days. SoundCloud was originally musician-focused and recently expanded into the wider spectrum of all sorts of audio sharing. The young Berlin based company was founded in 2007 by Eric Wahlforss and Alexander Ljung. SoundCloud offers its users free accounts and premium accounts for advanced features like controlled distribution, custom branding and statistics.
