Blogo, an Italian blog network, was acquired by Populis

Blogo, a blog network from the Italian online publisher Dada, was recently bought by Populis for approximately €6 million (Update – December 2022: The startup seems to be no longer in business and we therefore deactivated the link).

According to populis, the purchased blog network has over 250 bloggers, who cover 70 niches, spanning subjects for destinations like the UK, France, Spain, Italy and Brazil. The network generates around 100 million page views a month, which isn’t too shabby!

Blogo’s main office will probably stay located in Milan and hopefully the majority of the international Blogo-team can also continue it’s work. Populis, the new owner of Blogo was founded in 2004 and is based in Dublin, Rome and Milan.
