German company Chrono24 aquires Australian competitor WatchChoice

In February of this year, two German internet entrepreneurs, Dirk Schwartz and Tim Stracke, bought Chrono24, a marketplace for high quality watches. The sum of the acquisition has yet to be disclosed.

With their additional purchase of the Australian competitor WatchChoice, they are now on their way to establishing an international market leader. The sum of the acquisition has yet to be disclosed.

WatchChoice’s founder Glenn Palmer will now support the further expansion of the two businesses in Asia and Australia. Chrono24 operates in 25 countries and is based in Karlsruhe (Germany).
